Did Johnny Depp imitate Erol Flynn in the Pirates of Caribean?

I have seen both movies Depp's and Flynn's. I hadn't thought of it before, but you are right to a certain extent. I think Depp's portrayal is more over the top, and yet, at the same time more touching. Depp is a brillant actor as was Flynn. Well, I do think Depp is a bit better. They do have a very similar style. When I think about, in general, many of Depp's characters were played by him in a similar manner to how Flynn would act. Their style has a way of pulling you in without being overly sentimental. I do think Depp has the ability to bring more depth to a role than Flynn did. He seems to be more of a thinking actor.

Can you get depression, if you're constantly around people who have it?

IDK if it would be considered legal depression, but yes, they can change your mood. They DO "rub" off on you. You can tell be conducting a little test.....stay away from depressed people for a week or so. If you feel like you are becoming more and more positive as the days go by, then you know you are effected. I purposely removed all the negative people (places and things ) from my life over the past few yrs, and I couldn't be happier now. I can spot a negative person a mile away, and I get away from them as fast and as far as I can.....w/o being rude, of course. I feel sorry for them that they are in such a negative way, consciously or unconsciously, but I just do not have room in my life for negative energy. I do not deal with it very well, and I am susceptible for it to rub off on me, so I just do not put myself in that situation anymore.

Help!! How do I set my light timer!?

From the description, you set the pointer to the current time. Then around the edge of the dial are tabs which you can pull up or push down . Tabs that are pulled up represent time when the light is OFF, tabs which are pushed down represent time when the light is ON. Make sure the switch on the light is ON before you plug the light into the timer. (you checked this, right? That the light goes ON when plugged into a live socket and you do not have a burned out bulb?) Then turn the pointer slowly in the direction indicated. You should see the light turn on and off as the tabs move past the stationary pointer. Continue to turn until once again, the pointer is set to the correct time. I leave my timer set to standard time because sunrise and sunset does not change an hour (as the clocks do) during daylight saving time is in effect and my times stay in sync with sunrise and sunset. Why turn on the light at noon? I can understand 11PM because it is dark outside, but why turn on the light during the daytime? Why not turn on the light a little later, closer to sundown? By the way, the red switch is likely an override. Some have 2 positions, auto and on, and some have three positions, off, auto and on. ON and OFF force the timer to stay that way and the lights do not cycle based on the tab settings. The lights cycle ONLY when the switch is in AUTO.

One thing your doing is working the same muscle groups every day which doesnt allow them enough time to fully recover. My family and I don't know what to do. Nothing has changed around our house and we dedicate most of our time to her. Whether I'm doing my homework or watching TV she is usually on my lap or playing with blocks outside near me. Every day for at least an hour, I give all my attention on her and play games with her like peek-a-boo or chase. Sometimes though while she's playing she will just ditch her toy and start clipping her feathers or hide under the table where I can't reach her and clip them there. About Baptismal Certificates?

I lost the copy of my baptismal certificate. I went to the church to secure another one just to find out someone messed up with the names of my father and mother and I'm also registered having a different surname. Now the one in charge told me in order for them to be able to make the necessary corrections I'd have to submit my birth certificate (which I'm also trying to fix since it's not registered on the NSO). Then I'd have to ask the Archbishops permission to make the correction (this takes a lot of time I suppose). Should I just have another baptism to get another certificate bec I don't want to go thru all the fuss of having all these corrections made?

My Dad is 50 years old and for about 1 year and a half he has had these Strange Dark patches at his ankle/calve he used to work in a factory w/ metal. He was a welder I think.He was put off. Attention mongering comes from the constant need for others approval. Many times those that seek attention feel as though they can't get it if they aren't the center of attention. They have a constant need to be well liked. It also stems from a lack of self appreciation. They feel so inadequate without the love or attention from others that they feel they need to seek it from anyone they can. Basically they feel without attention they are worthless. It annoys everyone around them to no end because they become like a leech or a parasite. What I mean is, they become so seeking of attention that they can suffocate others with their presence. Why do my fingers blister instead of callus?

When I started playing, I got blisters on all of my fingers and those blisters turned into calluses eventually. You can try putting band-aids or something on your fingertips, in the meantime... if you still want to keep playing. This might sound weird, but I put clear fingernail polish on my fingertips once, when they were blistered, so I could keep playing. It actually helped!

Where to stay in San Diego, given certain needs?

I am not familiar with San Diego. I was there briefly many years ago, but don't really remember much. I will only be there for a couple of days. The areas I intend to be in are Balboa Park/zoo, the Gaslamp, and a beach. I am flexible on the beach. I'm thinking maybe Mission though. I seem to remember liking Mission the best when I was there in the 80's. I would like to avoid renting a car. I would like to get around mostly by bus, with one or two cabs, if necessary. I don't have a lot of money, but I'm willing to extend myself to make sure I have a good trip. I was looking at the Marriott in the Gaslamp area, but then I thought maybe it would be better to stay by the beach or the Balboa area, since I might only be needing to be in the Gaslamp area for one evening. I have some neurological problems, so I definitely require peace and quiet (as in, not staying in a place with paper-thin walls), and also a very comfortable bed. Specific suggestions for hotels are great, but I'm primarily looking for guidance as to what part of town would be best in order for me to accomplish where I want to go and being able to take the bus to get to places. Also, I want to be able to walk out of the hotel and be near restaurants and places to walk around in general, not just off of some highway exit. Sounds like your radiator is broken. Replace the radiator after you've determined there is no problem with the head gasket and there are no cracks in the combustion chambers. If that turns out to be a problem too, that will be the reason the radiator cracked in the first place.

How can I get more comfortable with people?

I feel like I am capable, because there are is a very small number of people that I am pretty comfortable with, can talk pretty normally and smoothly, and actually feel pretty normal and even cold, rather than feeling inferior or guilty or out of place, like I do with 99% of other people. You know, its easy for me to lose my composure after a while, because it just wears at you. I just want some tips on how to be more comfortable with people. That doesn't mean getting closer to people, because, for me that just makes it more difficult. There has to be a certain distance, without pressure to get closer, but also enough familiarity.

I'm graduating from an east coast film school this year and want to move to California to pursue my career as a screenwriter (against all my professors wishes). The "check engine soon", "ABS" and a wrench symbol lights have all lit up on my dash board. It started after I put gas in my truck. About 10 minutes later I was on my way to KFC and my brake petal started to pump when I slowed down and one by one all of these lights have come on my Mercury Mountaineer 2004. I havent had problems out of her all of this time and she has been running fine until now. She will drive, just slower and its harder to turn my steering wheel. Western as in the USA? I'm a G cup and I still wear a bra in the summer. If you're a C cup or smaller you usually don't have to because you're not very well endowed. We do have many styles of summer shirts though that don't require you to wear a bra. They have sewn into them what is called a shelf bra - a piece of stretchy material that is gathered at the bottom with an elastic sewn in, and this is attached to the inside of a shirt. With some women they can just wear these types of shirts and still be supported (not as well as a bra), but with other women that are bigger, these kinds of tops are something they shouldn't be wearing, simply because the shirts only can hold so much weight, most clothing is made to accomodate a B cup (I'm a seamstress and I see this a lot in patterns) or a 2" difference (same thing as a B cup). So if you take a woman with a frame size of 34 for a bra band and suppose she has DD cups or larger, those tops with the shelf bra are either going to be too small for her cup size, or she'll buy the larger size and fall out because the elastic underneath the bust is too large for her frame.

For live sound, the b wont be AS important, but you notice it missing when its not there. For recording purposes, absolutely have b. Depending on your idea of not expensive, schecter makes great guitars for what you're looking for, I personally dont like Ibanez but they aren't bad guitars, BC Rich guitars (in my opinion) are really more for looks than playability unless you get a high end model, their high end guitars are great. Epiphones also aren't bad, but its worth it to save the extra $200 or so and get a high end schecter. As for making it big, nobody can really say. You have to understand that you're not exactly playing the most marketable genre (not hating on deathcore, its just not as popular as other ****). All you can do is make sure you guys are REALLY tight before playing a gig, get GOOD recordings asap. Dont put shitty recordings up, becuase you wont be taken seriously. Its a huge financial commitment to be in a serious band, so just be prepared to work your es off, put money into it, and dont expect to get it back for a long time. My band did a tour of the NE United States and after gas, hotels, and other expenses, lost about $400 per member. But we had a blast and got our names out there. Lastly, play shows out of your own town. Dont be stuck forever in your city, branch out. Hope this helps, and good luck!

5'10" is way too tall for a 150. The 450 is also way too much bike unless you are a very experienced rider. I have the CRF250R and CRF450R and prefer the 250 by a long shot. Just bought the 450 to run an extra cl. 450's break traction too easily for trail riding, I mean sure you can ride one but the 250F does way better. The 450 is also notorious for stalling in the woods. Ever tried to kick start a hot 450F in the woods? I don't recommend it. An XR is a fine choice for trail riding but is not suitable for the track. Also much heavier and slower than modern liquid-cooled bikes.

I have a few questions about two different car amps?

I have a KAC-929 1000w at 1 ohm car amp, and i have two kicker cvr 12s. My kicker cvr 12 are dual voice and i have each voice coil on each sub hooked up in parallel sequence. So if my KAC-929 is a two channel amp and i hook up each speaker up to its own channel will i get the full 500 to each speaker or since its a two channel i would only be able to get 2 ohms with those speakers therefore giving me lower wattage per speaker? The other amp i was thinking about buying was a Hifonics HFi1000D 1000w at 1 ohm mono block and or a D block amp. So since that amp is a mono block the final impedance would be 1 ohm so would that give me the maximum output between both amps? I just want to know what amp would be best as far as sound quality. I kinda confused myself trying to explain so if i'm a little unclear in some areas i apologize. Thanks for your help. Also can you for sure tell me if the Hifonics HFi1000D is an amp that is hooked up internally in parallel sequence because it has two + and two - terminals but its clified as a D mono block.

If you own a smith and wesson sigma 9mm are there any problems with it?

The early Sigma series had a lot of reliabilty issues and accuracy issues. S&W seemed to work out alot of those bugs with the newer versions of the Sigma. I have a newer Sigma (fourth generation) in .40 cal and have not had a single problem or malfunction with it in over 1500 rounds. Accuracy is just as good as my sig and close to my HK. If it is a newer generation Sigma, you should find it to be quite nice.

Okay, my hair is dark brown, really thick and naturally curly/wavy/does whatever it feels like doing. Last year I lost my dog which I owned for about 13 years, and I am now thinking of adopting a new puppy within the next year or so. My last dog was not very bright but very well behaved and obedient, though she had one major problem: escaping. My old dog used to escape, run around the neighborhood and town, and eventually be brought back by a vigilant neighbor, usually narrowly avoiding danger. This was a bad problem for me because I could not catch her, once she got out she'd feel like it was a game and make me chase her. I was wondering if you had any tips for me about correcting this kind of behavior before I try taking in a new dog, theres more traffic in my area now and I really dont want to lose a puppy like that. I know dogs should be kept on leashes or in a fenced area, but like I said once my old dog got free there was no stopping her, how do I correct this type of behavior if it happens? Do I reward them if they come back? Am I supposed to punish if I catch them? Thanks in advance

Second opinion about Vets point of view?

I have a 5yr old toy Yorkie he is spry , great personality, loveable .
