I agree the with the person who said to sit down with him and try and make him listen to how much you love her. mention to him as well about what she said about you guys running away to Poland and tell him you don't want to do that behind his back as then you are proving to him you are trustworthy and it also might make him sit up and think about how he's treating his daughter if she is willing to run away.
