Does israel really need to be scared?

Israel are scared of their own shadow. I have never seen so many answers were its said "Israel has the right to defend itself" against what. Some unarmed Palestinian civilians ? Against Iran who have not attacked anyone for 400 years.? Do not all countries including the civilians in Palestine have that same right ? Does this look like defensive actions
