My cat had a splint removed after breaking her leg but now won't put her weight on it is this normal?

She had to have her back right leg amputated and her right front leg was in the splint for 6 weeks. Now that it is off she is still hobbling round on two legs, why won't she put the other one down? It isn't sore as she allows me to mage it. What can I do to help her to start using it properly again.
