Hepatic function panel test. Would having a CMP ( complete metabolic panel) test done be the same?

My sister needs to have her liver checked. And the only two tests the CMP doesent have included in them is the D.Billi and the T. protein. (thats in the Hepatic funtion panel). So should she still get the HFP done also?
