What do you think about female rappers? Are they empowering or degrading?

i think all rappers are somewhat degrading to themself. they always refer to themselfs as n!ggers and stuff like that. but w/e its a free country. personally i just think thats retarded, but love a lot of rap, ive heard one or 2 women rappers that can flow
